Since Miista launched in 2010 in East London, its signature heels have been spotted on everyone from Kendall Jenner to St. Vincent. If we were to name the one thing we adore most about the brand at Damernes Magasin, we would overflow the intriguing design of the shoes and ready-to-wear – not only are they beautifully made, but comfortable, too – and highlight Miista’s sustainable philosophy. “We believe in an artisan hand-made approach, and in investing in people over machines. Using mass production tools would save a lot of time, but by using artisans and taking time to discuss every part of the process, each piece is made with patience, consideration, and experimentation,” they say. In response, we say “Yes” to radical craftsmanship and elaborate aesthetics.
